Why we offer rental cars

Many of the places we fly to are at their best beyond the city limits. Think of the coves on the far side of Mallorca, the hill villages behind Nice, the western Algarve or the coastal roads of Crete. A car turns a city or beach stay into something much more flexible.

That is why you can add a rental car when you book your flights, or later in your trip planning. The car is ready at or near the arrival airport, so you can head off as soon as you have collected your bags.

What every rental includes

We have kept the core terms simple. Every rental booked through us comes with unlimited kilometres, so you do not have to count every detour. Basic insurance is included in the price, and you can review the cover and any optional extras before you confirm.

Plans change, so you can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before your pick-up time. That is useful if you are booking early to secure a car for peak season but are not completely sure of your itinerary yet.

Choosing the right car

Smaller cars are easier to park in old towns and on narrow island roads, and they are usually cheaper to run. If you are travelling with children, lots of luggage or sports equipment, a larger car or estate makes more sense. Check the luggage guidance for each category alongside the bags on your flight booking.

If you need an automatic gearbox, book early, as manual cars are still common in many southern European fleets.

At the pick-up desk

Bring your driving licence, the ID you travel with and a credit card in the main driver's name. Take a few minutes to look around the car and note any existing marks before you drive away. It saves time and questions when you return it.

If your flight is delayed, the rental details are linked to your trip, but it is still a good idea to keep your booking confirmation handy in case you need to contact the desk.
