Start with the trip, not the price
Fare names can feel abstract until you match them to a real journey. Before choosing, ask three questions. How much luggage will I need? How important is it to choose my seat or board early? How likely is it that my plans will change? The answers usually point clearly to one of the three AeroVista fares.
It also helps to think about everyone in your party. A solo traveller on a two-night business trip has very different needs from a family heading to the beach for a week, and it is fine for people on the same trip to choose different fares if their luggage and plans differ.
Lite: travel light, keep it simple
Lite includes a personal item of up to 40 by 30 by 20 cm, which must fit under the seat in front of you. It suits short city breaks, business day trips and anyone comfortable packing very little. If you later realise you need more space, you can add a cabin bag for 12 euros or a checked bag for 29 euros online. Adding a checked bag at the airport costs 49 euros, so decide early.
Lite is a good choice when your plans are firm and your packing is minimal.
Classic: the all-rounder
Classic adds an 8 kg cabin bag and a 23 kg checked bag, plus seat choice and priority boarding. It is designed for typical holidays where you need a proper suitcase, and for couples or families who want to sit together. Priority boarding helps you find locker space for your cabin bag.
If you would otherwise add a checked bag and a seat to a Lite fare, Classic is often the simpler and better-value option. If your bag weighs more than 23 kg, extra weight up to 32 kg can be added for 25 euros.
Flex: for plans that might move
Flex includes two checked bags and any seat on the aircraft, along with free rebooking and a refund up to 24 hours before departure. You also get the fast lane at security and lounge access. It suits business travellers whose meetings can shift, people attending events that might be rescheduled, and anyone who values certainty and comfort.
The higher upfront price buys protection. If there is a real chance you will need to change your flight, Flex can work out cheaper than paying for a new ticket.
Good to know
- If you will add a checked bag and seat anyway, compare the total with Classic.
- Choose Flex when there is a real chance your dates will change.
- Add any extra bags online, where they cost less than at the airport.
